DIY Pallet Coffee Mug Holder

To say that I am proud of this DIY would be an understatement. I can't believe how awesome this project turned out! The best part is, it was so extremely easy to make.

Materials:

Wooden Pallet (I ordered this one on Amazon)

Sandpaper

White, Black & Copper Paint

Hooks (also found on Amazon)

Picture Frame Hooks (or whatever they are called)

Step 1

Sand down the pallet to get rid of the roughness. This makes it easier to paint and avoids any splinters.

Step 2

Paint the pallet. I did what I call a rough paint job, meaning I only did one layer and didn't cover all of the original pallet color. This gave it that rustic look.

Step 3

Paint on the lettering. I chose this style, but it could have been done a million different ways. I considered a stencil look, but ultimately decided on the cursive with the arrows.

Step 4

Add the hooks. I started to drill them in, but honestly it was easier to just use a screwdriver. I had to measure out the perfect distance between each hook, that way my mugs weren't hitting each other.

Step 5

Add the picture frame hooks to the back & hang it up!

This has to be one of my favorite DIY projects I've done so far. I love it and now I have an awesome way to display my mugs!

Keep Crafting!
