Wood Slate Coaters
Materials:
- 4 Wooden slabs
- Wood burning tool
- Printed designs
- Pencil
- Polyrethane
- Paint brush
Step 1: Print out the designs you'd like to transfer to the coaster on printer paper. *You may need to resize the image so it will fit on the coaster
Step 2: Cut out each design and flip them face down. Shade in the back of the paper with a pencil.
Step 3: Flip the paper back over so the printed design is facing up and place on top of the wooden slab. Trace over your design to transfer the pencil onto the coaster. Remove paper and you'l have a pencil tracing of your image.
Step 4: Trace and fill in design with wood burning tool.
Step 5: Finish off by painting 2 coats of polyurethane to protect the wood.
